We are Christians committed to following the directions given by Jesus to his earliest disciples. At the Last Supper Jesus called them together and told them what he expected of them (John 13-17). The New Testament writers supported and clarified his expectations for all who would follow. Therefore, like our first century brothers and sisters, we are:
- Servants who follow Jesus’ command to serve and love one another in fellowship with all those who hold to Jesus’ teaching;
- Believers who trust in the truth of God and in Jesus as the way to receive the gift of eternal life;
- Messengers who are committed to unity in order to share the knowledge that God sent Jesus to rescue all those who will obey his commands.
